Seeing the room take shape is really making it hit home even more. (I told my sister this and she said "What? The big belly didn't give it away?" Funny girl). I am also washing and folding baby clothes, which adds immensely to the excitement.
Now that the furniture is up we can start adding the little decorative details. I am so loving this excuse to do some interior design, one of my favourite pursuits. The rest of the apartment might look like crap but I am starting baby off right! We bought a few decorative items, but I have a couple handmade projects in progress, and I plan to hit the flea market in a couple weeks for some unique doodads.
