I swear I have the best friends in the world!
A couple weeks ago I got a knock on the door and received two huge boxes from some of my dearest friends.
First Sheryl-Ann, my "twin" and long time partner in crime. We met through my sister Vernell, they were roommates at college. We hit it off immediately, and though we have never lived in the same place, over the last 12 years we have been each others support mainly via internet. We haven't even seen each other since probably 2000, but she is my soul sister!
Then "my online peeps" Marci, Paula, Sarah, Vivian, Sarah (aka thehodgees), and Kimber. Oh my word! I have never met these ladies but they are my daily support, my rock, my landing place. Thanks to The Pub on 2Peas we found each other and I can't imagine a day going by when we don't touch base to chat, laugh, support, encourage and yes, sometimes whine and vent to each other.
I was a blubbering idiot as I opened the boxes and saw how generous they had all been. And Sarah even sent Hershey's Kisses. Sigh. This lucky baby already has seven loving "aunts" and I can't wait for the day when he gets to meet them!
