It's been 20 days since we brought Kieran home, (can you believe he is almost one month old already? I can't!) and I'm starting to get my head above water. I think. I won't fool myself that he has gotten into any kind of steady routine yet, but I am finding bits of time here and there to slowly get back into my usual activities.
I've restarted posting over at Craft Gossip (Shellie, the owner, had kindly taken over for me the last two weeks in April), and should be posting more regularly here too (hoping for at least twice a week!). A little bit of crafting even got done: a Mother's Day tag for the Banana Frog Blog
I'm definitely having to rethink how I approach my projects though. Usually I'm the kind of scrapper who likes to complete a project in one sitting, which really isn't possible right now. So things are getting done in multiple short stretches of time. Take this blog post for example, I've been composing it in my head since Monday! So I'm taking it slow and doing things a bit at a time, even if that bit is simply coming up with an idea in my head. It's a whole new world people!
