In January of this year I chose the word reconnect as my One Little Word for 2010.
My broad goals for the year were
Reconnecting with you my blog readers
Reconnecting with my friends, both online and in real life
Reconnecting with my creativity
Reconnecting with myself as a woman, and not just a mama
Reconnecting with my body, which sorely needs some attention
Reconnecting with my husband in our new roles as parents
Reconnecting with my goals and plans for a craft based business
Reconnecting with nature and beauty, as difficult as that may be in the middle of a bustling city.
As I look back over the year I am pleased with how this word has guided me to acheive many of my goals. I do indeed feel reconnected with many of the areas of my life that I wanted to pay attention to.I have blogged consistently, scrapbooked regularly, worked on other crafts, lost some weight, and learned even more about photography, to mention a few.
A mere two hours from midnight in this time zone, I am still debating between two potential words for 2011. I want my word to encompass the idea of building on my acheivements for 2010, but also be meaningful in my life as a whole. A good night's sleep should be all I need to make the final decision, so check in this weekend for that reveal.
