My one little word for 2010 is reconnect. 2009 was a year of many changes and adjustments, and wonderful as it was, it did mean that priorities had to be shifted. After lots of thought I decided that I want the new year to be about maintaining those new connections that were forged, and reconnecting to the things and people that fell by the wayside.

Reconnecting with my friends, both online and in real life
Reconnecting with my creativity
Reconnecting with myself as a woman, and not just a mama
Reconnecting with my body, which sorely needs some attention
Reconnecting with my husband in our new roles as parents
Reconnecting with my goals and plans for a craft based business
Reconnecting with nature and beauty, as difficult as that may be in the middle of a bustling city.
I am so excited about all the possibilities for this new year! While it's true that we can make a change at any time, there is something about a brand new year that really motivates me to clean out the cobwebs, and get everything shiny and new for a fresh start.
