Ok, so I craft and make things for the sheer joy of creating, but there's also another side to it. I want to be surrounded by lovely and useful things, and lets face it, the budget doesn't always stretch that far. Hence the reason I made this, this, oh and this to name just a few.
This tongue-in-cheek poster is something I have found myself thinking lately as I gather ideas for projects that I want to do. Have you ever thought the same?
How about this scenario:- you're in a store, you see something you love, read the price tag and scream "They want HOW MUCH for this? I can totally make this with stuff I have in my craftroom already!" Which leads us to
I totally admit to this. Sometimes I just don't want to cough up the dough for something because I know I can make it myself. Whether I actually will make said item is another question entirely, but the important thing is that I know that I can.
