Our temperature cooled down significantly last week which always gets me in the mood to work on warm and snuggly yarn projects, (although we are now back up around 30 C, go figure!). Amazingly this year I didn't just think about it, I actually hopped over to my Hooked on Yarn board on Pinterest and chose some projects to work on.
It gets better: I have already completed three of them!
First this lovely cowl
Which was so lovely to crochet that I was inspired to do another right after.
It turned out to be more like a half0cowl as I didn't have the same amount of yarn as in the original.
Then I decided to tackle something a bit more complicated. Crochet slippers!
They came together so quickly and are warm and cozy! I did make some mistakes so there are some wonky bits, but all in all I love how they turned out.
Because I don;t need another craft buying addiction, I am sticking to using the long neglected yarns I already have. Most of them are just basic craft yarns though, and I am starting to yearn for some of the good stuff. Especially as I now have my eye on these other projects:
Do you knit or crochet? Which one do you think I should tackle next?
