Wow! It was definitely not my intention to leave the blog lying fallow for so long, but during our trip away my focus was on spending time with my friend and her family. Kieran and I spent two weeks in Austria; he had a ball as he got to play with three other (older) kids every day! Meanwhile my friend and I got to catch up again, it's been over 7 years since we spent so much time together and it was wonderful.
We've been back for a week, and I am back in the swing of things. I am still fiddling with the new look on the blog, but all the major changes have been made. I am starting to get cracking on Christmas projects, so keep an eye out for those soon!
I am also declaring December "Finish it up month"; I have way too many unfinished projects and I really want to start 2012 with a somewhat clean slate. Some of the things I plan to attack are my Week in the Life album, my December Daily from last year (shame!),and my Style files book from over a year ago! To keep myself accountable I will be posting updates on these every Saturday in December, starting on the 3rd (this coming Saturday). If anyone else feels like jumping into this project with me, just say so in the comments. Maybe I can do a Mr. Linky deal for everyone to add theirs to?
I've really missed blogging the last few weeks, but at the same time I feel like the break has done me good. I have a bunch of things to share in the next few weeks, and I am really looking forward to getting on a blogging roll again, and starting January with a good stride!
