I had lots of fun with this one, I decided to just go crazy and pile on the embellishments.
This was one of those "because you're so cute" layouts. I took these photos of Kieran mainly because I liked that wooden plank background. It's actually the side of a friend's garage. But I did tell the story of how Kieran is usually happy to "pose" for photos for me. I wonder how long that will last?
Now here's my page. I instantly thought "Instagram!" when I saw the sketch, and I even had photos already printed out.
I used supplies from two different Studio Calico kits that I had already dipped in to. Another white background because I am addicted. I wanted the page to have lots of movement and colour, just like Kieran and all the arrows were perfect.

I mentioned how much Kieran is in love with painting of late and I really wanted to get that documented. I found these photos from early December which were perfect.
I loved this sketch and stuck really closely to it. Instead of one 4x6 photo I used two 3x4 ones. It's been a while since I've done a page this size though, so it was a bit of a struggle getting used to a rectangular canvas again. Funny how that works right?
This photo popped out of me as I was looking through the archives this past week and I knew it would be perfect to highlight on a one-photo page. You may remember seeing it here before (also a Sister Sketch!).
I used a free digital kit that I got from Pixels & Co. It was a freebie on their Facebook Page. If you want to take a stab at digital scrapping it's a good idea to start off with free kits while you're getting the hang of things.

This time it was created by Vernell. You can right click to copy this image to your computer or download it in PDF form here. If you're a digital or hybrid scrapper you can grab the layered template here.
We'll be back in two weeks to share how we used the sketch. In the meantime you can still work on the sketch from January to share with us!
