My parents in law will be married 50 years this August. They got engaged on Valentine's Day 50 years ago. I have never thought about how they got engaged- and it was this little snippet about my romantic father in Law that I was really happy to hear.
Last time I was in the States I scanned in their wedding pictures -which are real treasures to start a new wedding album for them. And here is the first layout for it:
I love asking my relatives about their old photos and even if they sometimes hesitate to get them out - the glow in their face when they start talking about those "old" times is worth the question. So don't wait and get inspired by the wonderful stories and photos of the people that are close to you.
