It's our first reveal for 2014! Here's a look back at the sketch

I used it to do my first layout about Christmas 2013. Of course when I see square photos I immediately think Instagram.

 

A bit about the layout:

Nothing I used was Christmas themed; I simply used "Christmas" colours, and sparkly embellishments.

I used my embellishments to create a visual triangle, leading the eye around the page.

I made the star embellishment by cutting the shape out, then adding rhinestones around the edge.

I originally meant to stitch the polka dot paper to the white background, but my sewing machine had a hissy fit, so I put stitching holes instead.
